Shell has reinvented herself once again in 2023. Surviving the 2007 -2008 crash her resiliance and determination kept her business going. Now fast forward after 20 years in business, due to the Covid pandemic , Shell’s Petals had no choice but to close the doors on her American Dream.  During Covid, she utilized her time  and attended CSUEastbay and achieved a certificate as  a  Certified Wedding and Event Planner. She took things even further with restrategizing her career and became a Certified Wedding Romance and Honeymoon Specialist in the Travel Industry.

2020 was a heavy hit for our local florist. Personal, Health, and Family circumstances  took its toll and Shell took a step back to handle lifes curveballs. It was a time to grieve losses especially her business. She learned the value of relaxing and gardening. Spending more time with her grandchildren and living simple. Far different from the crazy hustle and bustle daily grind of more more more.

. Shell has been able to travel extensivly internationally and experience many bucket list adventures. As the world opened back up slowly, These experiences led her to the destination wedding and romance travel path. However, she cant quite hang up the floral design and wedding coordination title just yet. 

Shell has a private studio for floral, accommodates day of coordination, and wedding planning for only  a handful per year. Life has changed and doing 80 weddings a year and working like crazy was her passion. With the life changes, Shell realized to go back to the beginning and take on select events to give 100% to. Shell is now planning destination weddings and honeymoons all over the world. She is an empty nestor and has freedom to travel and experience life while assisting in making dreams come true with her extenstive wedding industry knowledge.  Shell invites you to experience her professionalism and tender care with your wedding needs.
